A new name for Gen Y is being adopted by certain media establishments: Echo Boomers. I kind of like this name, actually. It kind of reflects the fact that a lot of this generation were Baby Boomer's 'Echo' children, third or fourth in line, conceived during the Boomer's comfortable mid-life (and potentially during the Boomer's third or fourth marriages.)
